I'm Jeanette—the photographer behind J. Hurdle Photography, an Air Force veteran, wife, and proud mom of two. My experiences through military life, marriage, and motherhood have shaped the way I see families and the beautiful, imperfect moments that make each season worth remembering.
My goal is to create a relaxed, welcoming experience where your family can simply be yourselves. No pressure for perfect behavior or forced smiles—kids are free to be kids, and the laughter, quiet cuddles, playful chaos, and genuine connection are always welcome.
My military service also gave me the opportunity to connect with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life, reinforcing my belief that every family's story deserves to be seen and celebrated.
From preparing for your session to gently guiding you in front of the camera, I'm here to make the experience feel easy and enjoyable—leaving you with timeless photographs that bring you back to this season of life for years to come.

about me
Motherhood has shown me just how quickly seasons change. The little hands, belly laughs, cuddles, and beautiful chaos won't look the same forever. That's why I photograph families the way I do—not just to create beautiful images, but to preserve what this season felt like.

Jeanette recently took my maternity photos and we are absolutely OBSESSED! It can be tough to feel confident in a changing, growing, pregnant body, but she captured images that made me feel beautiful. She has a gift for making you feel comfortable and radiant in front of the camera. My husband and our dog were included in some of the photos, and it’s so special to have these moments captured in a way that shows the love our little family shares.

Working with Jeanette for our maternity photos was such a wonderful experience!
